cheezie oatmeal...
stone ground
I used fresh mozzarella balls (marble size)
1/2 cup stone ground oatmeal
into sauce pan
1 cup water
1/2 tsp pink salt
make up before bed and let soak until breakfast
low heat bring to a boil for 5-10 minutes
turn off heat and let sit at least 15-20 minutes
I added about 4oz cheese
swiss... cheddar... mozzarella...
whatever you like... (rough grated)
1 tsp Hungarian paprika
2 tsp dehydrated garlic
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2-3/4 stick butter
mix over low heat until the cheese has melted...
This is one of those recipes that is endless in how you want to flavor... savory in this case or you can go the sweet route using ricotta or mascarpone... fruits... jellies... jams... maple syrup and spices...
the savory adds onion... garlic... bacon... sausage... spices and olive oil...
try to eat what is fresh and available... let the seasons guide your choices...
