meat bees...
meat bees
and ants
come to feed
scavenging
the remains
picking bones
clean
brilliant
yellow jackets
of dominance
and power
hide
underground
nesting
in their colonies
alike
the rest of us
nestled in
until
the sun rises
daily toil
abound
everyone
w/jobs
to do
they
the mafia
of the flight plain
and simple
viscous
strong
their own underworld
of dirty deeds
done dirt cheap
taken from
the words
not my own
remnants
picked
as the carcass
lay
in the memories
of billions
tying together
a society
of a full
unity
of purpose
every species
has purpose
big or small
all sharing
the same
commonality
we are born
we work
we die
some even say
a simulation
others
a collective consciousness
that creates
truly
a brutal circle
of differences
instincts
intuitions
all coexist
relatively well
considering
the arrogance
of MAN
the mass destruction
created
at the hands
of progress
power
perplexing irony
perpetrated
on it's own
let alone
the lower forms
helpless
to fend
defeat
even deflect
away
the ravaging ignorance
for which we
as the ultimate
apex preditor
perpetrates upon
itself
let alone again
the collateral
damage
and destruction
of the millions of others
we share
on this terra firma
as well as
the great depths
the aquatic environment
the deep blue
still unknown
of it's vast beauty
simply a dumping ground
for our selfish
toxicity
and waste
disgusting hypocrites
at the highest
level
of both understanding
and actions
criminally speaking
we are all
guilty
by mere association
fear
and failure
hand in hand
as our response
to life's blood
wholly
mistaken
by the propaganda
of holy
father
teach the children well
another plagiarized line
making the point
no matter
what we do
or say
or force others
into such worship
we all
every one of us
w/out exception
as much as some elite
try desperately so
to overcome
will eventually feed
the meat bees
and ants

When we had a nest out back, I used to feed 'em. They like cat food and tuna fish, amongst other things. We got along. One time one landed on me. I didn't see or feel it, but I made a move that upset it. It stung me sans venom. Unfortunately, our landlord had them killed.
