disappointment
brought to my feet

a cat
w/a rat
a mouse
or a bird
the lizards tail
all
that remains
of the corruption
the greed
the insanity
of disregard
for what they might call
justice
freedom
liberty
all wrapped
in the flag
of disdain
disrespected
b/c
they can
and get away w/it
boldly
unfettered
or restrained
by any means
the mouth piece
of media
lies
w/every sentence
turned
twisted
omitted
a soup
of lies
falsehoods
coverups
childishly so
as a two year old
thinking
to buffalo
the parents
who
by nature
are good
yet
cowardly
ignorant
to the damage
white lies
cut deep
lasting
scarring over
and no
black lies
are even darker
more damaging
as reference
this description
has zero reference
to race
or color
to tell
the tale
we all
should loathe
and call out
as harmful
gather soil
of common ground
plant seeds
of unity
that sprout
depending
for not all
simply identical
the tray
of fifty
w/each
intended
w/the same goal
to grow
healthy
strong
productive
resulting
from
negative germination
all the way to
huge harvest
w/a mean average
that brings
a bounty
fulfilling all
a simple premise
the wonders
of nature
expressed
nothing more
nothing less
the mountain built
artificially

the mole hill
